From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend (May 24 – September 6), we will be moving to a one-service schedule for the summer. During this time, we will meet for one service at 10:00 AM.

We know summer is often a season of travel and changing rhythms, so we want to be intentional about creating space for community. Our hope is that this schedule allows us to stay connected and gather together in a meaningful way throughout the summer.

We’re looking forward to this season and all that God will do!

Calling all men! Mark your calendars for Friday, August 21st, through Saturday, August 22nd, for the Common Ground Church Men's Retreat: The Forge at Glorieta Adventure Camps.

Cost:

- $115 per person through July 31

- $125 per person after August 1st

Life has a way of shaping us, but God desires to forge us into men of strength, character, and faith. At The Forge, we'll spend time building authentic relationships, encouraging one another, and allowing God to refine us through His Word and through community.

Just as iron is strengthened through the forging process, we are strengthened when we walk alongside other men who challenge us, support us, and point us toward Christ. Whether you're new to your faith or have been following Jesus for years, this retreat is an opportunity to step away from the distractions of everyday life and focus on what God is doing in and through you.

Community Event: Movie Night – Toy Story 5

Friday, August 28 from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, at the home of Darryl & Marcia Manning, 3504 Deledda Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144.

Join us for a fun night of fellowship and a movie for the entire family!

Come prepared for a relaxing evening with good food, a great movie, and an opportunity to get to know each other better and make new friends.

There is no cost for this event, and everyone is welcome!

Come hungry, bring the entire family, and let's enjoy some time together as a CGC family.

No childcare will be provided.

Our Family Dinner is the perfect opportunity to get to know us a little better at Common Ground Church - you'll meet our team and others and learn more about who we are in a relaxed and welcoming environment!

Our next Family Dinner is Sunday, August 30th at 5:00 p.m. We would love the chance to get to know you better!

Dinner and Child Care will be provided!

The End of Summer is coming fast, and school is starting again. Let's end our summer together! Picnic style!

Come hang out with us at Ventana Ranch Park on Saturday, September 5th from 11a-2p.

We will have some backyard games set up (cornhole, frisbees, footballs, etc.) 

Bring your own lunch and pop up and join us for a time of fellowship and fun. We will see you there!

Grounded is for anyone who has attended our Family Dinner and is ready to take the next step in becoming part of our spiritual family.

In this two-week class, you'll learn more about who we are as a church, why we exist, what we believe, our leadership, church structure, philosophy of ministry, culture, and what it means to become a member at Common Ground.

Our desire is for you to be rooted in Christ and connected to the life of the church. Following Grounded, you'll be equipped to take your next step—whether that's becoming a church member, serving on a team, joining a small group, or continuing to grow in your faith.

At Common Ground, we believe the Church is more than a place you attend—it's a family you belong to. We believe church members are called to be active contributors, using the gifts, time, and talents God has given them to build His Kingdom and serve others. We want to help you discover how God has uniquely designed you and find your place in His Church.

Grounded meets over two consecutive Sundays from 8:45 AM - 9:45 AM in the Church Office.

Our next class will be Sunday, September 13th & 20th.
